Holy Trinity Church, Bangalore

 

Holy Trinity Church was built in 1852 by the British Government for the benefit of British troops stationed in Bengaluru. Holy Church has English Renaissance style architecture and can accommodate over 700 people.

This Church was built and equipped with finest of the materials available at its time. The church bell was cast in Mears Foundry in London, the pipe organ was also imported from London. The Church features several murals, statues and artifacts of historic importance.

Holy Trinity Church Mass timings: 

  • 6.30 AM and 6 PM daily, except public holidays (9 AM)

Places to visit near the Church: MG Road (1 km) and Commercial Street (2.8 kms) are popular shopping streets near the Church. Cubbon Park (4.5 kms), St Patrick’s Church (1.8 kms) and Ulsoor Lake (3.4 kms) are other nearby attractions to visit.

How to reach Holy Trinity Church:

St Patrick’s Church is located at Trinity Circle, which marks the end of MG Road, 6.5 kms from Majestic and 37 kms from Bengaluru international airport. Trinity Metro station is the closest metro (400 meters by walk). Trinity circle has excellent bus connectivity from all parts of Bengaluru.
