Thottikallu Falls, Bangalore Overview
Thottikallu Falls is only 35 km away from Bangalore, making it an ideal picnic spot for a half-day trip. The fall is more popularly known as TK Falls and locally as the Swarna Mukhi falls. Since this place is relatively close to Bangalore, college students and others often pay a visit to this place on weekends.

About:
The word Swarna Mukhi translates to ‘Golden Face’ . You can either take a cold shower from the waterfall or sit on one of the rocks in the surrounding area.
Note that you need to hike for about 300 metres to reach that fall from the parking spot. You will find a steep, narrow trail leading to a high cliff. The view from the cliff is astounding. A narrow descent will lead to the foothill which is opposite to the waterfall.
At Thottikallu Falls, you will find two adjacent falls. One fall has a wide shower, and the other is a narrow jet stream. People also visit the Muneshawara Temple that is located under a huge tree right at the entrance of Thottikallu Falls.
